Thomas Sposito is a highly accomplished banking professional with over 38 years of experience in the industry. His illustrious banking career in the Harrisburg, Lancaster, and other central Pennsylvania markets started in 1985 with Meridian Bank’s training program and has included leadership positions with Sterling Financial, PNC, Integrity, and S&T. In May 2019, Tom retired from S&T Bank as Chief Corporate Development Officer with direct responsibility for wealth management, private banking, public funds, and local market business development. Tom Sposito joined Traditions Bank in 2020, becoming President in 2022, drawn to the company’s core values and reputation in the community.
Tom Sposito has achieved significant accomplishments throughout his career, including winning the 40 Under 40 award. With Tom as the President/CEO, Pennsylvania State Bank was awarded first place for the Best Places to Work for Medium Size Companies. He was also honored with the Lebanon Valley College Harlen Wengert Distinguished Business Leader award.
Tom is actively involved with the Penn State Smeal College of Business as a volunteer and is committed to giving back to his community. He was the past Board Chair of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, an advisory board member for the Penn State fundraising campaign, served on the Penn State/Hershey Children’s Hospital Development Board, and the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Board. Together with his wife Kathy and their five sons, Tom Sposito created an endowment at the Penn State Cancer Institute to fund research and treatments aimed at defeating breast cancer.
