Eugene J. Draganosky
Chair of the Board & Chief Executive Officer
Eugene J. Draganosky is Chair of the Board & CEO of Traditions Bank, headquartered in York, PA. He offers nearly 39 years of banking experience attained through corporate and community banking leadership roles in central Pennsylvania. Draganosky joined the executive team of Traditions Bank in 2008 as its Chief Credit Officer, and the bank has grown significantly during his 16-year tenure. He became a director and president in 2015 and was later named CEO in 2017. As part of ongoing succession planning, Mr. Draganosky became the bank’s chair of the board in April 2023.
His current professional service includes the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council and the board of the PA Bankers Services Corporation. He currently volunteers on many boards and committees in the community, including the Appell Center for the Performing Arts, York County Industrial Development Authority, York Area Capital Campaign Advisory Group, and Country Club of York. Further, Gene has served as past board chair for Appell Center for the Performing Arts, Junior Achievement of South Central PA, York County Chamber of Commerce, and York County Library System.
Since 1985 and before joining Traditions Bank, Eugene J. Draganosky has held positions with CoreStates, First Union, Commerce, Waypoint, and Sovereign banks. He earned a master of business administration degree from Loyola College and a bachelor of science degree with concentrations in finance and management from LaSalle University.
