Art Rathell brings over 22 years of experience to Traditions Mortgage, A Division of ACNB Bank, starting his journey after a personal mortgage refinance led to an opportunity to become a mortgage lender. Fluent in Spanish and born in Puerto Rico, Art quickly embraced his role in helping diverse communities achieve their homeownership dreams. Today, at Traditions Mortgage, Art Rathell continues to be driven by his passion for building relationships and providing tailored solutions, especially for low-income and first-time homebuyers. One of his most rewarding moments is being present at the closing table, handing the keys to families who are starting a new chapter in their homes.

Art Rathell is deeply committed to his community and has been involved in various boards and committees throughout his career. He currently serves as Vice President of the Builders Association of Adams County and on the boards of Centro Hispano de Frederick, Hanover Little Theatre, and the RAYAC DEI and Affiliates Committees. Art has also taught numerous first-time homebuyer workshops in English and Spanish across South-Central Pennsylvania, Baltimore, Houston, and San Antonio. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Towson University, Art has built a career based on his belief in the power of relationship-building and problem-solving. Outside of work, Art is an avid theater enthusiast and has been acting and directing since he was nine years old, as well as singing in churches since the age of 11.
