2013 marked the third year that Traditions Bank has been honored to be the collection point for the York Daily Record/Sunday News Christmas Emergency Fund. Contributions for last year’s fund, which ran from Thanksgiving until January 31, 2014, totaled $15,540 and benefitted the York County Food Bank to fight hunger throughout York County.
Melissa Moore, Traditions Bank Retail Marketing Specialist, coordinated the effort with the newspaper. As she opened the donations that poured in daily from the York Community, she was truly inspired by the kind notes that were included with the checks.
