Traditions Bank Gives Back in 2020

This year, we are reminded of our many blessings and all we have to be thankful for. At the same time, we are also aware of the many residents in our community who require extra help with basic needs like food, clothing, school supplies, and more. The COVID-19 pandemic has made these needs more urgent than ever.

Join us as we give back to these organizations in the communities we serve.

Supporting Early Learners – Community Progress Council

Each year, the children enrolled in CPC’s early childhood programs receive holiday cheer through partnerships with local individuals and organizations. They want to continue this tradition and keep everyone safe during this unprecedented time. Please consider supporting their program by purchasing a gift for one of their families and bringing a little joy to their homes this year. Progress Perseveres!

Christmas Emergency Fund – Rental and Housing Assistance

The Christmas Emergency Fund is the York Daily Record’s annual fundraiser, benefiting a group or nonprofit organization in York County. This year, the money raised will benefit the COVID-19 Relief Fund, specifically earmarked for eviction prevention through these nonprofits: Community Progress Council, CASA, New Hope Ministries, and the Salvation Army.

Those who wish to donate can stop by one of our branches or mail their donation to Christmas Emergency Fund c/o Traditions Bank.

You can also donate online.

The program kicks off on Thanksgiving Day and runs through the end of the year. Weekly updates will be printed in the paper to show the amount donated to date, and the contributor list will be printed at the end of the campaign.
