York, PA (June 9, 2022) – Since Traditions Bank began in 2002, the organization has emphasized supporting local women to make their mark on the community around them. With the Her Traditions program, women are encouraged to take steps in navigating their financial health journey to reach their fullest potential. With this focus on empowering women to achieve their aspirations, the bank awards various scholarships to local graduates to encourage continued leadership through their college experience. The scholarship program is growing, and Traditions Bank is proud to expand our reach to include women in Lancaster County this year. Scholarship recipients exhibit strong leadership skills, excel academically, and impact their community through volunteer service.
Now in its 12th year, the Her Traditions Scholarship Program recently recognized eight York County seniors and three Lancaster County seniors with $500 scholarships. Traditions Bank is proud to recognize the accomplishments of the following young women:
